There is nothing more beautiful than natural materials like stone, each piece is a unique work of art. Because of our buying power the cost of having natural stone can be the same or only slightly more than ceramic tiles. Though in the long term stone will be good value because it not only lasts a long time, it does not go out of fashion. After all it’s been used as a building finish for thousands of years.

Channel Island Ceramics have been importing processing and fitting Natural stone for over 25 years. We stock marble, granite and limestone slabs and can produce anything from a kitchen worktop to a house sign in our workshops. We also stock many stones in cut to size format for use on floors and walls and in addition to this we also stock Sandstone granite and slate for external use.

Stone particularly marble and granite can vary tremendously in both colour and texture and a small sample is not enough to see anything more than an indication of the final colour and texture. One must bear in mind that the stone will change as the quarry gets progressively deeper and wider, a metre of depth can represent a thousand years of sedimentation. Choosing from stock is the only way to guarantee that you get a preview of the material and it takes the risk out of receiving something completely different.
