Bathroom designer, sales person

The Company:
Channel Island Ceramics, originally founded in 1978 it is a leading designer, supplier and installer of kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, ceramic tiles and natural stone products. This success is based on having a well trained and motivated team who offer an innovative range of advanced products. Staff turnover is considered to be very low by any standards. We were proud to be awarded the title of "Bathroom retailer of the Year" a once in a lifetime award in the bathroom industry.

We have a large showroom on Forest Road with over 27 room settings of kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms. Our showroom also displays beds, natural fibre carpets, tableware and glassware, ceramic and natural stone tiles. It is not unusual to have shoppers who travel from outside the Island with the sole purpose of visiting our showroom. Our products come from companies such as Hansgrohe, Hülsta, Mark Wilkinson, Mobalpa, SieMatic and Villeroy & Boch to name only a few. Great pride is taken by all our staff in the quality of the goods we have to offer, our service and our after sales care. We are not only a busy and progressive company, we are cheerful people to work with.

The Position
We currently have a vacancy for a motivated person to join our sales team. The position will involve assisting our clients in choosing and designing their new bathroom. Regular training sessions will be given to help familiarise you with what we have to offer and advance your technical knowledge. A five-day week is normally worked, including Saturdays. However we are never open on Bank Holidays.

The Person
We would be pleased to receive applications from individuals who are articulate and enjoy dealing with people. You will be able to work through complex issues using your own initiative and as part of a team. You will be computer literate and eager to learn new skills. You will be able to analyse information, arrive at a design solution and have the ability to communicate this in the appropriate manner to suit both private and professional clients. Previous sales experience within the bathroom industry is essential. Training will be offered on our product range and our bathroom CAD system.
